Linking URLs on Customized Thank You Pages
There are three, distinct Thank You pages you can create on SeamlessDocs and Web Forms, which will appear when the last signer in the signature workflow completes a form: (1) A Default Thank You page; (2) A Redirect to another webpage; and (3) A Customized Thank You Page — for today’s Feature Friday, let’s explore creating a link on your Customized Thank You Page.
Firstly, to enable a Customized Thank You Page, go to your Doc Editor --> Click the tab “Settings” on the upper-left of the page --> and then toggle ‘Custom Thank You Page’ to Yes.
In order to set up the Customized Thank You Page, you can input a title into the Header Text, as well as information for the Main Message. Within the Main Message, you can use HTML to write out a simple line of code for displaying a URL link.
Reference the following line of code when setting up the URL link:
<a href=”URL HERE”>TEXT THAT APPEARS </a>
URL HERE — e.g. “https://google.com” (* Remember to add “https://” to the beginning of your URL)
TEXT THAT APPEARS — “Link to Form X”
There are many different use cases for linking a URL to a Thank You Page, including directing end users to another form you’ve converted, or back to your municipal website. How could you use these URL links?
