Employee Name: Jose Casanova
Title: Front-End engineer
Hometown: Miami, FL
Tell us a little about yourself:
I've been working for SeamlessDocs for about a year and a half now. I recently moved from Miami, FL to the SeamlessDocs HQ in New York City to be closer to the SD family! On my free time, I enjoy building (virtual) things, exercising and exploring the city.
Specific role in company:
My role includes fixing and updating new features, working on our next generation platform, and making sure anything that is added to the application is up to par with our design standards.
I was working for a company focused on making education a great experience.
Most memorable experience:
The SeamlessDocs games was a great time getting to know the rest of the team... even though my team didn't win :(.
Favorite SeamlessDocs feature:
SeamlessPay and Dynamic Lists. I'm bias because I helped build them, but they were fun technical challenges. SeamlessPay is really a game changer because it allows municipalities to incorporate payments into their workflow with ease.
What do you think sets SeamlessDocs apart from other companies?
SeamlessDocs strives to make dealing with government a beautiful experience. This goes from saving the government millions of dollar a year to eliminating the need to fax in paperwork.
What would you tell an applicant who is applying for SeamlessDocs?
If you're up for a challenge and want to improve the way citizens interact with government, then this is the place you want to be.
